North Highland company to relieve Seniors of Home Care Stress

With the explosive growth in the Senior population, comes the need for help in Senior Home Care Services. Looking for service providers in areas such as house cleaning, yard care, home repairs and in-home personal services can be daunting and stressful.

Spectrum Home Services (a locally owned and operated Franchise) in North Highlands, has created a complete Home Care Services problem solving program designed to assist seniors with most if not all of their Home Care needs. With 5 core areas of service - Personal Care, Yard Maintenance, Home Maintenance/Handyman, Homemaking and Relocation services Spectrum handles the most difficult problems.

Spectrum specializes in Senior Care, but also works with active families (those families that have more activities than time), 2 income families (those families that both parents are working, and want more time to spend with family and friends), active Seniors (those Seniors who travel, volunteer or are still working and just want someone to help out, or perhaps want to downsize and need someone to help them prepare the house for sale, pack, move and unpack at a new location), Guardians and Conservators (to assist those people that need these services but are under the management of these agencies) State and Federal Agencies (to assist these agencies with people under their care), Corporations (they help with preparing homes for sale for families that companies have moved , they also offer services for companies to use as perks or rewards). Spectrum Home Services is the brain child of Jenny and Tony Nelson of Midvale Utah. Jenny Nelson, a physical therapist, first saw the need when she wrote a Masters project in Gerontology. After discussing this opportunity with her husband Tony (whose expertise lied in Real Estate and Property management, they opened their first operation in Midvale Utah. Soon they began discussing the need for this service all over the country and began franchising in January of 2005.

Darryl and Karen Vidor of AAA Team Enterprises Inc. are the Franchise owners in the Sacramento area. Darryl also represents Spectrum as its Director of Franchising for Northern California and as a member of the Board of Directors for Spectrum.
